Hours logged in seconds.
Month-end in minutes.
Tida is the time tracking in your Nordkastell workspace. Everyone reports their hours by day, week or month, on the phone or at the desk, and whoever does invoicing and payroll gets the figures per project and per person without chasing anyone.
The week is a grid you type into. Tab across the days entering hours, change a number to correct it, and type 0 to remove it. A note sits in the cell it belongs to.
Time tracking people keep up with
A timesheet only works if people fill it in, so Tida makes that the quick part. There are three views of your own time, Today, Week and Month, each showing the same figures in the same order. The projects are the workspace's shared ones, the same that Planera plans, so nobody types a project name twice and the reports line up from the start.
Pick a project,
tap in the hours
Today opens on a keypad made for thumbs. Tap a project, key in the hours, add a note if you like, and log it. On a phone the navigation sits at the foot of the screen, and a swipe steps to the next day.
A whole run of days
in one go
A week on a customer site, or a week of holiday: select the days, choose the project and the hours, and Tida logs every one of them at once. Each day is tinted by how it compares with what it expects, so a gap stands out before month-end does.
Statistics
The hours for invoicing and payroll, on one page
Every project is hourly, fixed price or internal, and absence is marked as absence. Tida sorts the month's hours by those lines on its own, so the report hands you the hours the invoice and the payslip need. Rates and invoices stay in the systems you use today.
Hours balance
Ahead or behind, at a glance
Next to every period's figures is each person's hours balance: a running count of the hours they reported against the hours the work calendar expected of them.
Reported against expected
Tida sets the hours you reported against the hours your working days expected, and keeps a running total from your start date. Ahead or behind, it sits with the figures at the top of Today, Week and Month.
Your day, not a fixed eight
What a day expects comes from each person's weekly hours, so a part-timer's balance is measured against their own week. Swedish public holidays expect nothing, and holiday, sick leave and other absence count as reported time.
A count, not an agreement
The balance is a simple sum that helps each person keep their hours in check. There are no caps, payouts or conversions. An admin can set where the count starts and add an opening balance, with a note saying why.
The balance is worked out from the entries every time it is shown, so correcting an old day corrects the balance too. A day still in progress can add hours but never pulls the balance down.
The small things, too
Every hour accounted for,
on your own server
Tida is €8 a month per workspace, for everyone in it, and your time data stays on your own European server.
